You have just over a month to see one of the most stunning collections of artwork ever displayed in Quito. The Grandes Maestros del Arte Popular Iberoamérica is a collection of works from 22 Spanish-speaking countries. According to La Hora, a local newspaper, the exhibit includes over 5,500 works made by 500 artists. Thirty of those artists hail from Ecuador.

The display can be seen at Centro Cultural Metropolitano in the Historic Center until May 3, 2015. The hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30AM until 5:30PM and Sundays from 10:00AM until 4:30PM. The exhibit is closed on Mondays. Entrance is free.
